Surprising Gatherings In Rawles Township Celebrated

In Rawles township southeast of Glenwood neighbors held two surprise parties this week at the Creech home. About 100 attendees enjoyed ice cream and cake with music, and were welcomed warmly. Guests included Wolfe, McPherron, Scott, Ester, Delevan, Rodman, Utterback, Lutz, Wolfe, Creech and others. Ralph McPherron celebrated his 53rd birthday with a surprise by friends, and both evenings featured instrumental music and communal cheer.
