Glenwood Telephone Cut-Over Starts This Week
Work began Tuesday to transfer former Iowa Telephone lines in Glenwood to the new exchange. The process will take two to three weeks. After completion patrons will use a model exchange service that requires dialing by number. New central operators from Red Oak assist until cut-over ends. Calls by name will cause delays as numbers are looked up. Northern town areas have started the cut-over.
