J B Heide laid the foundation for four new dwellings on recently purchased lots from J C Jackson. Excavation for the cellar and foundation of 2H Vankirk's new residence is underway. Mr Ramsey from F Pullman’s store has moved with his family from Omaha to occupy part of Miss Gertrude Lacock’s residence. County Superintendent Moore visited the Silver City schools Friday. Mark Swarts returned Saturday.

Railway Crossing Accident Injures Man, Fractured Ankle
A man named Olson was thrown from a spring wagon while crossing the railroad and sustained a badly broken ankle. He was taken to a physician for examination, the fracture reduced, and he is recovering as well as can be expected.
