District Court ends session with juries and new panel planned

The District Court adjourned to June 3 for trials including Earl Garmav and Mrs Stillwagon. a new 30 member jury panel will appear. Trials heard include divorce for Mrs Schaller from Arto Sebeller, Shugart verdict for McWilliams, and various civil and criminal actions with mixed outcomes.

Tribune Adapts To New Home At Court House Square

The Tribune settles in its new four-door, west Court House Square home with upgraded presses and a gasoline engine. A. R. White oversees the job printing department as Glenwood welcomes modern equipment and invites readers to submit publishable items. Local help from J. L. Bellatti and Dr. C. W. Lyon aided the installation, with Seam Evans and Engineer Stannard assisting to bring the plant to life.

Junior Enceavor meets 3 p.m. and Senior at 7 p.m. A sermon titled A Man Sold and Bought will be at 8 p.m. The Methodist church lists Sunday services with a morning sermon on Jeans death and a life of Jesus, an evening quarterly meeting, and union services led by Dr. D.C. Franklin.

Educational Notes Highlight Teacher Reading Circle and Funding

County Superintendent W. M. Moore notes strong teacher reading circle books for the year and invites educational notices from the public. The county auditor allocated 4031 among county schools, about 0.70 per school-age person. Several district libraries received additions, schools in St. Marys township closed for summer, and shop purchases were reported for Bentow Milly and Couter Deer Creek schools.
