Glenwood items and community notices roll on

Glenwood hosts choir at Congregational church on April 6 and plans a dance at the Harvey Rimes Post Armory next Friday. Local updates cover travel to California and Wayne Nebraska, hospital visits in Omaha, a windstorm knocking down utility poles, election day on April 5, and various residents’ comings and goings including shipments to Council Bluffs and Florida.

Weekend Guests and Local News Around Glenwood

Miss Mary Trisler of Henderson was a weekend guest at the W B Pickens home. Mrs Dwight Pickens of Omaha visits relatives in Glenwood for a fortnight. Special engagement at Congregational church Tuesday night April 6. Miss Ellen Wing of Tipton Iowa visited Miss Kathryn French and brought a little girl to the Institution. A truck hauled four horses between a car and baled hay. The Hutchingses visited Glenwood and then left for Los Angeles. Good seed oats in demand as farmers haul from Tabor elevator, including Herbert Barbour and Hf Nilson.
