How Sacred Is Money A Glenwood Tax Reflection
A historical note compares net incomes from a 100 acre farm priced at $100 an acre with taxes and upkeep to money income losses. It cites $300,000 in government bonds with no tax and $286,000 in exempt property, including soldiers and widows, equating exemptions to a $15.60 monthly gift.
