Replanting Calico Corn Brings Encouragement to Mills County
Al Terry of Glenwood recalls a spring when grasshoppers decimated corn twice. He replanted July 1 to 7 on 27 acres of Calico corn, harvested well, wintered stock, and sold 1000 bushels to B F Buttington who has long bought grain in Mills County.
