Harding Bankruptcy Sees Meeting of Creditors in Council Bluffs
The first meeting of creditors for Bernard Harding's bankruptcy occurred last Saturday in Council Bluffs before referee W. Mayne. Raymond Green, son of Congressman W. R. Green, was named trustee and is reviewing the jewelry stock for disposition. The session adjourned to next Saturday at 11. A hearing is scheduled Tuesday to probe creditor claims. Johnson holds the chattel mortgage of 5900 dollars to Mills County National Bank, with other creditors seeking to set it aside and include stock in the liquidation. Several wholesale jewelers and local creditors are listed, but exact dispositions remain uncertain.
