Deaths of a Week Obituary Mrs W Rankin Zoa Adrian Bacon Rankin
Zoa Adrian Bacon Rankin was born August 6 1848 in Ruthind Vermont and died July 9 1905 at her Hillsdale Iowa home. She married William Rankin February 11 1886 and they had six children. Surviving are her husband and six offspring two sisters five brothers and three sisters. She joined the United Brethren church about a dozen years ago and helped build the Hillsdale church later destroyed by fire. The couple helped establish the present structure as a memorial to their sacrifice. The funeral was held July 11 conducted by Rev Barkheimen and Rev Curtis, Glenwood cemetery burial.
