Miss Martha Wearin of Hastings area died at home Friday with funeral at the house led by Rev J W Wright and Wesley chapel choir. Interment in Hastings Cemetery. Hesper Cooper born near Edinburgh October 14 1828 died June 26 1910 near Strahan. Survived by husband John Craig, 12 children, 38 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren. lived in Wisconsin, Minn., Iowa. Funeral attendees included eight living offspring in Nebras ka, Tennessee, and Iowa.

Pen Man Fuller to Open Writing School in Glenwood

Writing instructor H. R. Fuller, known as the Pen man, will open his writing and lettering school next Monday in Business College Hall. Tuition is due by term end, with terms and conditions on the bill. Glenwood, July 5, 1910. Fellow citizens: I heartily recommend Prof. Fuller, who conducted a 102-pupil school here in 1902, and am fully satisfied that all desiring to improve their penmanship will be satisfied with his work. Sheriff sale of Mills County real estate in 1910

In Mills County Iowa on May 27 1910 Merrimack County Savings Bank obtained judgment against Edd Dawson and others for 81151 25 with costs. The sheriff will sell the west half of the southeast quarter and the northeast quarter of the southwest quarter in section 19 township 73 range 43 at the west door of the Glenwood courthouse on July 21 1910 between 9 am and 4:60 pm, with attendance by G H Estes and L G Linville deputies.
