Mrs Ide P Palton of Georgetown Colorado advertises private sale of north Glen Wood lots and cattle on the Dave Buckingham place in Lyons. Cattle include 21 head yearlings and two year old steers. Also includes a medical ad for Allister's Rocky Mountain Tea by A J Howe.
John A. Norman, a Glenwood grocer with Norman & Anderson, left the city two weeks ago and entrusted his store interests to his son Cornell. He may have sailed for Sweden after a trunk was checked to New York, with no letters received since. His wife fears trouble, while friends think he may reappear, as relatives remain in Sweden and Anbild Erickson travels.
The state board of control released a biennial report on Iowa's 13 institutions. Glenwood led with 402 185 spent, while per capita costs varied from 23 420 at Mt.
