Clara Deitchler operated for appendicitis last Saturday. Myers family left for Sibley Iowa to visit relatives. Herby Deitchler moved his auto house to the farm amid snow and ice. Three Schoening carloads of cattle shipped from Mineola.

Yan McCord was injured coast ing Sunday when his sled hit a car driven by Wederquist. he is improving. Baptist church hosted a Hard Times social Tuesday with Mr G L A. Short program and refreshments. Mrs. A J Wearin hosted a Friday card gathering, Five Hundred with six tables and a luncheon served. Mrs. J P Wearin and Miss Harriet Denton assisted.
East Center correspondent reports Fila Miller visiting Omaha for a few days. Miss Hilder Dora Horene Gland Brooks and Charles Boles went to Omaha on business. Harvey Kirk sold his coin for 92 cents and will shell and deliver at Bal four this week. Mrs A B Wilson of Malvern visits her daughter Mrs W Boles this week. Mr and Mrs James Sawyers of Bal four bought a new piano and some furniture for their new home. Mr and Mrs Frank Plum and Mr and Mrs W Boles went to Wesley Chapel last Thursday for Marion Phimb’s funeral.
