New Dynamo Arrives at Electric Light Plant

A 5-ton dynamo was received from Lincoln after a storm outage on January 16. It was installed immediately and required ten horses to haul it from the depot to the power house. The light service is expected to meet all demand soon.

Masteas reports in favor of altering and locating a sixty six foot highway beginning at Green street Glenwood and ending at branch road No. 267 through sections 13 and 18, township 72 range 43 and 42, passing over lands owned by Green Stotts McCoy Emma McCoy Sarah Elizabeth McCoy Matthew Donnelly J A Blair John McCoy and others as per survey by F M Jackson. The route passes under the C Q and Q railroad and is known as Fallon Hill road.
