Banquet for Men at Glenwood Baptist Church

An innovation in church entertainment brought about a banquet for men last Friday at Glenwood Baptist Church. About sixty church members and congregants dined on oyster soup, roast beef, mashed potatoes, salad, ice cream, and coffee. Rev. Palmerton, the toastmaster, announced the aim as fostering old friendships, forming new ones, and spreading good fellowship among the men, followed by an hour of humorous and serious talks from Dr. Pearson, C. H. Otis, Seth Dean, Prof. Morgan, Prof. Turpin, EB, R. Werrick, H. M. Logan, and Judge W. S. Lewis.

Dunn Dudley Firm Opens Glenwood Store Relocation

The Heinsheimer successors close the Glenwood store for remodeling as Dunn & Dudley Company takes over. Based in Lincoln, C. L. Dudley is secretary and G. L. Duan treasurer. Groceries will be added to prior lines and patrons urged to bear with delays.

Notice that L. J. Dunn G. L. Dunn Ll. Dupiey form Dunn and Dudley Company in Glenwood Mills County Iowa to operate a general merchandise store.
