Three delegates head to Tabor, and the top scorer advances to the district contest in Corning. Miss Ethel Cunningham mentors the group and will read. Programs include orations on capital punishment and the Mexican War, a Robert Emmet speech, a La Fayette elegy, a New South piece, dramatic readings, a Captive American Girl sketch, and humorous performances by Ethel Kelley Jessie Wright and Helen Fleming.
