Lyman Twins to Perform at Glenwood Opera House

A busy Glenwood week features the Lyman Twins at the Opera House Wednesday night, Jan 18, while local residents make short trips to Red Oak and Omaha. Amid social calls, sales and sales notices, farm shipments, and illness, residents share news of visitors, travel, and upcoming events.

Dancing School Opens in Glenwood January 13

Glenwood residents learn to dance at Meyers hall with Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Hunt directing. Classes for children at 4 15 pm and adult beginners 7 30 to 8 30 pm, with assemblies at 8 30. Fees: children five dollars for 15 weeks or 40 cents per lesson. adult beginners 50 cents per lesson. assemblies after 8 30 cost 50 cents per couple. Also notes on advertised letters at Glenwood post office and second dance instruction option with private lessons by appointment.
