O E Jarrington the Meatman installed an engine and pump on the river one mile southwest to fill an old dry basin and secure ice. Wenderson basketball beat Carson 22 to 19 at the Macedonia tournament last week. Grandma Maynes hosted a hip turkey dinner with out of town guests Joe Maynes Geo Galloway and families and Charles Maynes from Malvern. Grandma posed with her four sons Joe John Mac and Charlie after the meal.
A sister of Lir O Alexander and her husband from Council Bluffs visited Wall Street before returning home Tuesday. Mr and Mrs Chas Chipps of Lucena are visiting relatives here this week. Sherman Jones recently built two tenant houses in a wooded area.
