Ferdinand Detlef a German farmer near Balfour died in an automobile about 4 p m Thursday while returning from Council Bluffs after a morning journey to Omaha to consult a physician He died shortly after telling the driver he felt sick The car slowed at once and he died before Dr Mary Tinley arrived The funeral is set for Sunday at Mineola Church burial at Mineola Cemetery He was 63 a native of Germany survived by wife six children four sisters and two brothers The son Frank and other relatives are named in the notice

The bride, a Des Moines College and Atlantic High School graduate, wore white pussy willow taffeta and carried white roses. The groom, son of Mr and Mrs E M Myers of Glenwood, is a Rush Medical College student. The couple will reside on a Brayton area farm next year.
