Miss Euphemia Evernham visited friends at Malvern. W M Donelan had business in Hastings. Various Glenwood residents hosted, visited, or returned from trips as school resumed after holiday break. The area saw infrastructure updates, including a plan for a larger Glenwood post office with 1400 square feet, 400 lock boxes, and near rail depots. proposals due by March 15, 1905.

Rutledge Stock Company to Play Three Nights at Opera House

Glenwood schedule announces the Rutledge Stock Company will perform three nights starting next Thursday January 5. Lead players include R. F. Rutlege and Miss Grave Bainbridge with a large supporting cast. Seating is now on sale through auctioneer Byers, who reports improved sale methods and a planned longer engagement later in the year.

Many Merry Maskers at the Downtown Masquerade Ball

A large crowd gathered last night at the Institution to watch the annual masquerade ball for children and employees. Notable participants included Miss H Amnens, Miss M Ridgeway, Dr Kaede, Miss Ruth Elwell, Claude Van Zandt, EC Cook, Archie Bovear, Miss H Boardman, Miss K Negin, and Mrs W S Asbury among many others in elaborate costumes such as a Two-faced girl, Spanish bull fighter, Fairy Queen, and Red Riding Hood.

Brought Back a Bride at Western Neb Home Bakery

Mr. P Timmerman, new proprietor of the north side Home Bakery, retired last Thursday to Glenwood bringing back a bonny bride, Miss Lavina Holcomb. The wedding was held at the bride's mother's home in Western Neb at nine o'clock on Wednesday Dec 28. The couple will reside above the bakery for now. Tribune offers best wishes.

Glenwood church officers re-elected at annual meeting

The Glenwood Congregational church held its annual meeting on Monday with strong turnout and all officials re-elected for another year. The slate includes Jennie Williams as clerk, Chas IE Carey as treasurer, B B Dean as trustee, Asael Lambert as deacon, and Sunday school officers A D French superintendent, Chas E Carey assistant, Dale Skiles secretary, Bernie Hamilton treasurer.

The policy had named his parents, who after his marriage honored his wish by signing the draft to widow Grave Reasoner Bower and placing it in Shenandoah National Bank for her use. The piece lauds the act as noble guidance for heirs to honor the dead.
