Glenwood items report visitors from Malvern Omaha Council Bluffs and Mineola. The Ble Indian Circus is coming St Patrick's day hosted by the Glenwood Woman's Club. Bills for the poor and medical services were approved. Local plays and market visits are noted alongside reforms and a theatre-like home talent event.
Lloyd Bradway and Evelina Augusta Scott wed at the Baptist parsonage in Glenwood on February 23 with brothers as witnesses. The couple plans to farm near Hastings. In Silver City Gail Burgoin married Mrs Pro Craig in Idaho on February 12 and returned to farm life. John Clifford Frazier and Madge J. Carson were married February 18 in Creston with Thoras Evans officiating.
Athletic notes show Sidney High plans to host Glenwood in a pivotal Southwest Iowa title race. Sidney needs a win to stay co leaders. Glenwood and Shenandoah have recent results shaping the standings. Girls travel to death and dumb school in Council Bluffs then Brownell Hall in Omaha for two upcoming games.
Or ville Warren of Henderson and Ber tha Davis of near Emerson married on Wednesday February 16 at Red Oak. The couple plans to reside on the Warren farm for the coming year and receive congratulations from the community.
The wedding took place at the bride’s parents home on Sunday February 20 at 6 pm with Rev C BE Hill officiating. Bride Blusstt May Chambers is the daughter of Mr and Mrs George Chambers. After a short honeymoon they will reside in Belleville Kansas where the groom works on the railroad.
