The Fun Show at Malvern on Wednesday night drew a large audience despite poor weather. Performers demonstrated notable histrionic ability, turning the event into a success. The Library Association profit exceeded 100 dollars from the venture.

Saturday evening Wingate Gibbs was badly burned at his Glenwood home while trying to start a gasoline engine. A backfire ignited gasoline, causing a roaring blaze that left his face severely burned.
