Glenwood residents report social visits and moves to Nebraska, with spouses and relatives exchanging farms and homes. The Fun Show at Malvern on Wednesday night drew a large audience despite poor weather. Performers demonstrated notable histrionic ability, turning the event into a success. The Library Association profit exceeded 100 dollars from the venture.
Saturday evening Wingate Gibbs was badly burned at his Glenwood home while trying to start a gasoline engine. A backfire ignited gasoline, causing a roaring blaze that left his face severely burned.
The Official Board of the Methodist Episcopal church submits preamble and resolutions mourning Ezra Bradford a devoted husband father and long serving Sunday school teacher. The statements praise his spiritual benevolence and forty five years of teaching and express sympathy to his widow and children. Walling McMahin notes inviting rug department offerings.
