Obituary of A W Coppage in Emerson and Omaha
A W Coppage died in Omaha on February six. Born October 27, 1837 in Rush county Indiana he moved to Henry county Illinois in 1856. He served in the 91st Illinois Infantry Co B from 1862 to 1865 and later lived in Emerson with his wife Hila M Marshall whom he married in 1870. They farmed near Emerson before moving to town then later to Omaha to be with their children. Surviving are three children Alta Elbridge Bert. Funeral was held at the Emerson Presbyterian church.
