Deaths William Jens of Mineola Dies at 67
William Jens prominent farmer northeast of Glenwood died at his Mineola home on February 9 1916 at 3 30 a m from stomach trouble and la grippe. Born November 15 1848 in Klutzien Holstein he came to America in 1870 and to Mills County Iowa in 1871. He married Henrietta Hopp in 1878 and leaves a large family including six sons four daughters and four grandchildren. Funeral at noon Thursday from the home with burial in the German Lutheran Cemetery Mineola officiated by Rev HE Sitzler.
