Former Glenwood residents visit and plan return

Glenwood and vicinity recall Rey Hill and Mrs. John G. Hill, former local residents now living in California. Mr Hill attends a Methodist Sunday School Board meeting in Chicago, while Mrs Hill visits friends here before his return. The Hills left Mills County about twenty years ago to settle in California. He chairs a PhD program at USC and they are prominent socially. Mrs Hill is daughter of former residents Mr. and Mrs. John Myers northeast of Glenwood. The Bell Telephone System issues a booklet praising American telecom superiority over England's government system.

Series of Lectures Begins in Glenwood Church

One of the region's notable speakers from Southwestern Tech will start a lecture series at the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Glenwood. He will discuss "The Origin of the American Indian and His Destiny" Sunday at 7:30 p.m. and again Sunday and Monday evenings. Tuesday evening will cover "What Will God Do With Those Who Did Not Hear."
