Frederic Barg, son of Mrs. George Pagle, arrived Thursday after four months in eastern Wyoming ranching. His homecoming was a pleasant surprise to family and neighbors, and he appears rugged from his rural season.

Ed Lambert of Lyons butchered a beef with two neighbors who bought quarters for fresh meat. A third neighbor declined a share. The next day one mess had been cooked and the rest hung in the smoke house, but the remaining beef vanished, unlikely to have stayed local.
