Mesdames Charles Cheyney Carl Rich W H H Fickel and J M Donevan host one oclock luncheons at Mrs Cheynes home with four groups of friends. Last Tuesday forty guests attended and on Saturday thirty six were present. Christmas centered tables and mini evergreen decorations set festive mood. Attendees enjoyed Kensington work and social time. Two more similar affairs are planned for Tuesday and Friday afternoons with the same hostess group.

A half score of O M Gs and B I Ds visited the Wayne Choates at the Mc Pheron home on Saturday night. After a convivial hour they departed leaving the Choates with an electric lamp as a token of the visit from the two organizations.
Mr. and Mrs. I J Wallace went to Emerson Sunday to attend the funeral of Mrs. George Dixon a former Emerson resident. Mrs Dixon died at her daughter's home in Greenfield Ja Wednesday December 8 and was brought to Emerson for burial.
The D of H ladies will hold a Kensington on Tuesday afternoon December 14 in the home of Mrs Merle Killman. Every D of H lady urged to be present.
John Kent of a farm two miles west and half a mile south of Mineola will hold a public sale on Wednesday December 15 featuring horses cows sheep hogs implements seed corn and other farm goods previously described in the listing.
Pacific Junction hosts a box social and a program of music by the local band on Friday night December 17 in the E. P. hall. Attendees will miss a grand evening if not present.
