Milla county shooting shocks town at depot
Miss Maggie Kunze fired at night operator R. Wilson as he passed her at the depot on Monday evening. The bullet pierced his shoulder blade and leg but caused no serious injury. Sheriff Morgan arrested Kunze on an assault with intent to kill warrant after a townwide stir. Bond set at 1000 dollars with her mother Margaretha Kunze signing. Motive given as a broken engagement. Kunze held for grand jury after waiving preliminary hearing. Wilson uninjured except for a hole in his coat.
