Public sale announced by F M Boyd in Hillsdale

F M Boyd will hold a public sale at his Hillsdale place on Thursday December 3 starting at 1 o'clock. The auction offers 27 head of stock including a team of horses two milch cows 15 shoats hay corn potatoes wagon buggies harness and other articles. The Ellison Evernham farm four miles northeast of Glenwood hosts a second sale December 16 with livestock implements hay corn and property of M Evernham and H T Bennett. Making Hens Lay In Fall Boosts Winter Egg Production

The December Farm Journal advises fall laying for spring pullets to sustain production through winter and fetch higher egg prices.
