Emerson Tra Cheney and Bert Rens enjoy a two week outing at Colorado Springs costing Emerson merchants $300. Henry Douglas returned from Nebraska near Central City. George White prepares a prize herd for ied Oak fair then Des Moines. Mrs Gilbert Cheney attends Malvern visit to Mrs Booth. About a dozen Emerson residents attended. George White bought a 3 horsepower gasolene engine in Red Oak to grind feed and pump water. Infant child of Mr and Mrs Walter Clites died after a few hours. Mr and Mrs W Douglas return from over twenty month tour with their merry go round, now in Macedonia and Riverton next week. Harvey C Haseall and Rose Lee Turner wed at the groom's parents home with 30 friends present. Haseall & Son mercantile firm member is prosperous. Mrs Haseall from Virginia will reside here.
