Mills County Board approves audits and adjourns to Aug thirteenth
Mills County Board of Supervisors met August 4 1920 with H H Cheyney C C Plumer and Sherman Jones present. Claims were audited and allowed including expenses for Austin Aubry tools county road and bridge fund labor and dragging payments plus merchandise and services from numerous vendors. The board accepted the Equalization report showing percentage raises for various property categories and adjourned to August 13 after adjourning for a county picnic. They set deputy salaries effective dates and approved A C Gourly as deputy county auditor replacing Lottie B Evernham, with bonds.
