A late 19th century Tan tanaoia public meeting debated hall management and ownership. The Mayurra District Council met on Tuesday September 12 with Drs Niteghke Spehr and McCourt present. Assessments on Union Bank J B Mitchell Carl were reduced amid debate. Personal applications included street lamps and bonishing at Lake Bonney. permission for kerbing and roads discussed.
The Tantanvola District Council met on Saturday September 9 with Drs Kerner Kiely Holloway and McRostie present. Correspondence covered gate construction permissions, road issues, and Main Road Commission powers. Financials showed receipts and an overdraft, with plans for a special meeting October 28 and upcoming drainage and infrastructure adjustments.
Beachport district Council held a special meeting to open tenders. Present were Drs Sutherland Varcoe Clifford and Geoghegan with Dr Willaima absent on mes. G Manhood announced a mistake in tender for South Enud Reserve and the council decided to rent the reserve for five years at 3 per year. Tenders for contracts 1 and 2 were rejected as too high and will be re advertised. The balance of the special grant will be spent on Mount Hope Road.

The case arose from alleged military secrets sold to Germany, with Esterhazy forged documents used to accuse Dreyfus.
