Miss Ida Kennedy a Millbrook resident for fifteen years died May 7, 1958 in Peterborough Civic Hospital after a brief illness. Born 1880 in Howick she was daughter of the late James Kennedy and Eliza McGill, with a brother Sam predeceased her. Funeral May 10 at 2 p.m. from J W Haw Funeral Home Millbrook conducted by Rev Francis Chisholm. pallbearers were her nephews Vertil Kennedy Lawrence Bryans Will John Lunn Norman Elmer and Kenneth Thurtle. Interment Oak Hill Cemetery.

In Memoriam Robert Fallis Remembered by Family

Congratulations flood the village as Arn old Brackenridge son of Mr and Mrs Charles Brackenridge Gravel Road earns an honours BSc in geology from McMaster University last week. Mrs Lloyd Sutton was kicked by a cow Wednesday evening and is laid up for a while. News also recalls Mrs Robert Ridge and family arriving safely in Europe with Mrs Basil Richards visiting Holland and Germany respectively. The Manley Thompson and Johnston parties traveled to Ottawa for the holiday weekend with Alex Johnston joining for a motor trip through the Gatineau Hills.
