The Township of Manvers authorizes a seven thousand dollar debenture bonus to the Lindsay Bobcaygeon and Pontypool Railway for building from Lindsay to the Canadian Pacific line with conditions of completion by 1896 and stations at Janetville and Yelverton. A sinking fund of 561.75 yearly is created, and a trust into Lindsay banker Robert Ross is set to deliver funds upon completion.
