PUPILS DO WELL AT MUSIC FESTIVAL IN PETERBOROUGH
Pupil Patsy Keiler from Bailieboro Ontario scored 84 in the 12 and under piano solo France at the Peterborough Music Festival. Thirty children competed. Bernard Ingham earned a third certificate with 81 marks playing Gavotte from the Fourth French Suite by Bach. Congratulations to pupil and teacher Mrs Winslow.

In Peterborough last week Helen Ingham won top marks in modern drama and verse speaking for girls in grades 11 12 and 13. She portrayed Joan in St. Joan and spoke Traveller's Joy earning 89 and 92 marks respectively, plus 81 in a Shakespeare bit. Elinore Crowley led Grade 11 with 81 and 85 in modern drama and 81 in verse speaking, for Our Town and I Remember Mama. Both girls were coached by Mrs. B E Ingham. congratulations extended to the contestants.

Ida Boys Find Weather Balloon Near Home
