Orange Service Held at Haw Funeral Home for Merle McMahon

A Sunday service at 8 p m honored Brother Merle McMahon at the J W Haw Funeral Home Millbrook with a large Order attendance. Worshipful Master Ken Moncrief presided Chaplain Henry Jewison offered the sermon and marshal Willis Cunningham led the procession.

Sudden Death in Car Crash Takes Merle McMahon at 25

Merle McMahon 25 died when his car collided head on with a transport east of Belleville on Friday January 25. Two other occupants James McEacheran 21 and Edward Johnston 25 also died. Funeral held at J W Haw Funeral Home Millbrook. Survived by wife Anna Manley and infant son Murray, parents Hilliard and Mrs McMahon, three brothers and two sisters. Burial at Gardiners Cemetery Millbrook. Orange Order pallbearers attended.

Dancing Club proposed with dancing classes and dues
