Bible class presents photograph to Mr Pedler at Bateson home
On Dec 26 1893 the Methodist Bible class led by Joseph Pedler gathered at Mr Wm Bateson’s residence to present a framed photograph. Mr Wm Lang Jr and G E Marshall addressed the group, praising Pedler as a devoted teacher and wise helper. Pedler expressed pride in his class, spoke of hope for reunion in heaven, and thanked everyone before a festive supper. The Baptist annual tea on New Years day raised sixty six dollars.
