Football announcers take fields during practice

Two CBC announcers nicknamed Big Bang Whittaker and Steve The Rifle Douglas joined on field drills to sense the game. After a ten minute practice they reported a soft touch in the booth and Whittaker needed three bottles of liniment while Douglas used half a bottle.

Hockey Off to a Good Start in Local Season

The cold snap froze ice allowing New Year hockey after December weather. The local team, with new players Carl Perry Jack Church and Red Hill joining Don Earl Geo Dawson and Allan Thompson, beat Keene 6 to 5 on Thursday night and defeated Hiawatha 8 to 3 on January 38th. Fathers Night At The H. S. Millbrook Association

The Home and School Association Millbrook hosts Fathers Night in the school on Monday January 14 at 8 15 pm. Men of the association lead the program with brief talks on professions a film and refreshments. All are welcome.
