Cavan Council to visit Millbrook Dump for approval
Cavan Council met July 7 with the Reeve presiding. Millbrook Reeve Harrington and Councillors Ridge and Nattress attended. The council discussed the Millbrook Dump land acquired in 1960 and the need for permission, promising to seek homeowners’ opinions before granting Millbrook permission. By motion, Cavan will establish a Township gravel pit dump at the Quarter Line intersection and raised several local official salaries. A social note records Mrs. Raymond Brown of Millbrook hosting two evenings for her daughter Vilda with a large display of her trousseau and gifts attended by about eighty friends.
