Michigan Assembly to Host North American Youth Meet
Miss Elmore Crowley of Petterboro formerly Millbrook will join about 2000 youths at the North American Ecumenical Youth Assembly on the University of Michigan campus August 16 to 23. The gathering draws young Christian leaders from 40 communions across Canada and the United States with some 200 international participants. It is sponsored by World Council of Churches and World Council of Christian Education youth departments, Canadian Council of Churches Young People’s Work, and United Christian Youth Movement of the National Council of Churches of Christ in the USA.
