Millbrook notes praise the Methodist Sunday School program and Christmas services. Many residents and visitors from Peterboro Lindsay Toronto and Bowmanville spent Christmas at homes here and in nearby towns, with family reunions and social calls.
Mir J J Fair visited Port Hope on Thursday. J I Griffin spent Christmas with Perry. Miss M Crossley of Peterboro visited Mrs M E Milligan and the Misses Kelly. J W Fry sold Oshawa steel shingles to Edwin Moore of Cavan for a large barn. Geo McDaniel of Orillia spent Christmas with relatives. Reeve T A Kelly hosted Edna Wallace and others after a continental tour. Sam Hunter and family spent Christmas with Capt Hunter and Mrs Hunter. Wm Adams and Frank Adams families visited R Adams for Christmas. Ethel G Kelly visited Rockford Ill before staying with her brother Reeve T A Kelly.

The Millbrook Methodist Sunday School celebrated a major anniversary on Sunday the 27th marking a new era in growth. Rev J J Redbitt of Lorento preached at three services, delivering vivid sermons and an afternoon address on the Sword of the Spirit. Continuous rewards and prizes highlighted strong attendance and memorization, while the Home Department and financial reports showed substantial increases and robust participation.

In Ohio and John Winnipeg Mrs Harper of Otowabee Mrs Paul of Cavan and Mrs Reynalis of Milbrook attended a funeral held Saturday. The Presbyterian service at the house and grave was led by Rev Win Johnston. The community extends sympathy to the grieving family.
