Milford Seeks 20000 Federal Grant for Water System Upgrades
Milford plans to apply for about 20000 of federal public works funds as part of a 3500000000 program. The grant would finance replacing old pipes with cast iron and adding a steel storage tank, funded by a 30 year repayment with 4 percent interest and potential 50 percent outright grant. A formal application is being prepared after outreach to Salt Lake and Washington officials.

Annual Telluride Outing Held Sunday
The Telluride Power Company held its annual outing Sunday at the upper plant in Beaver Canyon a scenic setting for the event. Employees from every district attended the family gathering and enjoyed a program of stunts music contests games and races including pale climbing and snowshoe events. Salt Lake visitors H B Waters general manager and Waldo company attorney joined in the festivities with Mrs Waters and Mrs Waldo contributing to the merriment.
