Tom Stewart 24 prominent young farmer of South Milford died Sunday from a ruptured appendix and peritonitis after a brief illness. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the LDS church in Milford with burial in Beaver cemetery. Reginald Thomas Stewart, born August 3, 1937 in Adams, was the son of W. D. and Elizabeth Ellen Stewart. He moved with his family to Milford 14 years ago and graduated Milford High School in 1927, remembered as an honest industrious friend with a wide circle of acquaintances.
The Salt Lake reception center asks newspapers and readers to send mail to drafted and volunteer servicemen. Colonel H P Kayser announces an updated post office at the center in Pt Douglas Utah and urges timely correspondence. Letters arriving after transfer will be forwarded.
