Mr and Mrs C C Koch and daughters Lucille and Rosalie returned from a five weeks vacation visiting relatives and old friends in Indiana and the middle west. Attend Meet Of Future Farmers LaVell Parsons and fellow Milford FFA members joined about 400 delegates at the Utah Association of FFA state convention at Utah State Agricultural College August 26 27. Governor Blood Secretary Wallace and former Secretary Jardine spoke at the closing session. Contests in livestock crop and poultry judging were held.
Ira Mitchell Fisher leaves Friday for Salt Lake City to spend ten days at the L D S mission school before heading to the north central states mission. He is the son of Mr and Mrs Parley B Fisher and his send-off last Friday drew a large crowd and a generous collection for his two year or longer service at his own expense.
