Aviation Cadet Officers including Lieutenant Gnavies L Young Captain Leon M Swift and Sergeant Heber Hansen visited Milford High School Saturday evening to address local cadet candidates. About nine thousand poppies were sold in Milford last Saturday by Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion Auxiliaries who were on the job from early morning. Mrs. W Cottrell notes the graduation of Reverend Willa Miller from Asbury College Kentucky. Miller, who served Milford as pastor last summer, gained strong local support and church attendance. He plans evangelistic work in the Dakotas this summer and will enter Boston Seminary next fall. his home is near Boston.
Ivan McKnight left hospital and returned home. The Social Hour club held a birthday party at the club house last Thursday with attendees including Mrs. G. W. Cates Mrs. Carl Rohn Mrs. Patterson Mrs. Hick ina Mrs. Viva Gray Mrs Robert Fisher Mrs Edgar Fisher and many others. Mra Ellis LeFever of Mineravilly stays with her daughter and Mrs Larue Turnery helps her recovering from typhoid fever. Mrs Treth Bishop of Elko Nevada and her two children visit Mr and Mrs Bera Walker. High school graduates from South Milford include DuWayne Williams Helen Baker Gael Elmer Donald Stewart Rose Sly Nora Sly Doyle Sly and Myrtle White.
