Nine graduates will receive diplomas from Beaver County Board of Education at Milford High School for the tenth annual commencement. Telluride Power company hosts a Frigidaire demonstration for Milford women with 200 mailed invitations and in person invitations. The event runs Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Guests will see salad and dessert freezing demonstrated by the Frigidaire cold control system.

Milford Trio Wins Points at State Track Meet
Horace Palmer Lawrence Webb and Howard Jones of Milford reached the Salt Lake state meet finals with success. Webb placed third in the running broad jump, Palmer fourth in the hundred yard dash, and Jones fifth in the quarter mile. Milford totaled five points amid a lengthy list of schools.

Sheep shearing at Beaver County corrals wrapped up last week with major activity at Williams corrals near Minersville and Morris corrals at Newhoys. About twenty men worked at Williams, clipping twenty seven thousand head. wool mainly shipped from Milford, Reed, Lahe, and Milford as loading points.

Funeral for Hyrum Clements Held Here
Hyrum Clements a Nevpia resident formerly of Milford died in Ely on May 20. He was about three years old, unmarried, and survived by two sisters Mrs. John Bran Wahwa Springs and Mrs. Brian Jenstings Hellywenit California, and a brother Chas Clements Milford. He was buried from the L D Church Tuesday at 2 20 p m and interred in Milford cemetery.
