Panguitch Stockman Tebbs Dies in Milford at 67
William H. Tebbs, 67, longtime Panguitch stockman, died in Milford after a short illness. His body was taken to Panguitch for services and burial. Tebbs was known in Garfield County and Milford valley for using the west desert as winter range for his sheep and had many friends in the area.

Death follows loss of legs in freight accident
Clyde E. Tubbs a native of Auburn Michigan died at the local hospital from hemorrhage and shock after both legs were mangled when he was run over by a freight train near Borden north of Milford. He had lost considerable blood but died despite amputation. He left Chester Idaho seeking work and is survived by a wife and three children. Remains were sent to Michigan City for interment. funds were forwarded for that purpose. Body prepared for shipping by Pratt Root of the Southern Utah mortuary.
