Ward Injured After Ladder Collapse at Steenbock Home
Harry Ward fractured his wrist and bruised his head after a ladder broke loose from a rope while he worked on the Steenbock interior. He was rushed to the hospital where his wrist was set and wounds dressed.

Funeral services held for Kesler farmer and father of twelve
Funeral services were held at Minersville for Joten Kesler who died after contacting a live electric wire on his South Milford farm. The service included remarks by Bishop George Marshall and speakers G. H. Eyre and J. F. Tolton. Kesler, born March 14, 1877 in Orton Utah, had lived in Beaver County since 1916 and is survived by his wife Elsie Mae Gillins and twelve children, nine living, plus brothers and sisters.

Belle Buoy's Violet, a 14 year old Guernsey cow, produced 17,235 lbs of milk and 959 lbs butter fat in 865 days, exceeding prior records by 7 lbs of fat. She averaged 11 lb grain daily, weighed 1260 to 1490 pounds, and achieved sixfold butter fat versus the national average for cows of typical peak age.
