Prominent intermountain stock man Jack Travers dies

Jack B. Travers of Craig Colorado longtime livestock manager and former U of Tl athlete died last Thursday in Craig. He had worked for Adams McGill Livestock Co Utah Construction Livestock Co Montello and Ralph Pitchforth Livestock Co before moving to Craig. He married Inez Bertoldi in Reno in 1939 and is survived by his widow two sons and several relatives. Funeral services were held at Aulforest Mortuary with George Washington Lodge in charge.

Red Cross 55 Drive Planned For Next Tuesday

Milford’s annual Red Cross Roll Call will be held next Tuesday March 29 led by city fund drive chairwoman Mrs Cora Jones. The goal is 295 dollars with any excess split between local and national funds. Judge Koch Mrs Jones and district leaders will meet Monday at 7 30 p m in the library basement to finalize plans for the one day collection.
