Grub Control Efforts Prove Effective in County
Cattle grub control work led by Hyrum Steffen shows reduced infestation in treated herds compared with untreated cattle. About 190 head of dairy and beef cattle were treated last year with 100 cattle owners participating. More than 280 Western Beaver County food handlers and school children were X rayed over two days at Milford High School to screen for tubercular infection.
