Milford high school's Beavers Milard division of region six boarded the train for Salt Lake City to face the state high school basketball tournament opening gate. The Utah Idaho Junior College Speech and Debate meet will be held at Coday City April 7 8 with Branch Agricultural College as host. Attending include University of Idaho Southern Branch Idaho State Normal Utah State Agricultural College University of Utah Brigham Young University University of Redlands Westminster Weber Snow Carbon Dixie and more. Each school will bring six to ten speakers and awards include cups medals and merit certificates for top finishers. Eligibility requires no more than six quarters of college work.
