Milford District Records Highest Groundwater Rise in Utah 1937 38

Groundwater levels rose substantially in 1928 and again in 1937 38 across Utah with Milford district showing the greatest sustained average rise. Parowan valley logged 3.3 feet max historically, Beaver valley 0.2 0.4 feet, and seven other areas under 1 foot. Measurements cover 10 to 45 wells in developed zones and 3 to 10 wells in less developed areas, based on November December data. The Utah Idaho Junior College Speech and Debate meet will be held at Coday City April 7 8 with Branch Agricultural College as host. Burbank CCC to Send Seventy Three Home from Camp Burbank

Seventy three men from Camp Burbank will depart this week as their six month enrollment ends. The group, from Indian Territory or Ohio, will be returned to Fort Benjamin Harrison before heading home. A later, smaller group from Kentucky and West Virginia will also be sent home via Fort Knox.
